Feel the Burn

Feel the Burn is for 16-18* year olds who are currently unemployed and not in education or training. This course is designed to help you get into work, further training or an Apprenticeship.

Our sports leaders course is delivered 5 days per week for 5 weeks in Torpoint, starting January 2015. Course includes units through the apt Awards qualifications.

Intro to Marine Engineering

Are you unemployed, aged over 16 and want to gain valuable marine engineering training?

If you are considering a career in Marine Engineering and want to gain practical, hands-on skills whilst gaining qualifications, then call Dave Wickes at Cornwall

The next Introduction to Marine Engineering course will be running from January 2015 in Falmouth and lasts for 18 weeks, 2 days a week initially, with an optional extension*.

This course is available to young people across Cornwall. You may also be able to get help with travel costs

Re-Engage South West

Are you aged 16 or 17 years old? This exciting new engagement programme could be just what you are looking for!
Re-Engage South West will provide flexible support and training to you as an individual. Our team of friendly and knowledgeable youth engagement officers will tailor an action plan to meet your needs and help you with any barriers to learning or employment that you may have.


Foundation Learning "Employability Skills & Vocational Training"

Cornwall Marine Academy offers Foundation Learning courses to 16-18 year olds who are currently unemployed and not in education or training.  These courses are designed to get you into work or an apprenticeship.

Channel Marine Academy

Following on from the successes of CMN’s own Marine Academy, which seeks to create employment and career opportunities for young people into marine sector businesses, the Channel Marine Academy project is an EU Interreg IVa initiative, funded by the European regional Development Fund and brings together 6 French and British partners and led by Cornwall Marine Network
