Are you aged 16 or 17 years old?

This exciting new engagement
programme could be just what you are looking for!


Re-Engage South West will re-engage-pplprovide flexible support and training to you as an individual. Our team of friendly and knowledgeable youth engagement officers will tailor an action plan to meet your needs and help you with any barriers to learning or employment that you may have. You can either take part in taster sessions or work towards a qualification in the following:

  • Building skills
  • Plastering
  • Motor Vehicle Maintenance
  • Hitz Programme
  • Health and Social Care
  • Work Experience
  • Maths & English


What's in it for you?

re-engage-learnWe will work with you to create a personalised learning plan taking into account your skills and personal interests. We will agree realistic targets and review these with you regularly. We will work with you on a weekly basis to develop your individual skills and strengths to prepare you for further education, employment, and apprenticeship or training.


Come at least for one hour per week and start to build your confidence and work as part of a team to take you to the next level. You will be fully supported by our youth engagement officers.


You will receive...

  • 1-1 Mentoring
  • Support with applying for college, work-based learning, employment or an Apprenticeship
  • Support with letter writing
  • Support with CV writing
  • Ongoing support when you re-engage in training, employment or an Apprenticeship

Why not try our engagement activities?

Cornwall Marine Network can provide you with free one to one careers advice and guidance sessions to help you re-engage into education, employment or training that is appropriate to your needs and interests. Through initial engagement we can engage with you via activity days that will help to build your confidence and improve team work skills. We will also work with you to create a personalised learning plan that takes into account your skills,  knowledge and preferred career pat. Together we will agree on realistic targets and review these with you regularly. We will meet weekly to further develop your strengths and prepare you for further opportunities. This can be achieved through:

  • One to one mentoring 
  • Support through application process for college course 
  • Support to gain an Apprenticeship or employment
  • Support with writing covering letters
  • CV building sessions
  • Continuous contact after re-engagement
