The Cornwall Marine Network was established to improve the 'prosperity' of marine sector businesses in Cornwall by collectively representing members' views and to develop and implement actions to meet their needs and increase their competitiveness.
Objectives
Training:
To increase workforce skills in line with future industry needs.
To identify the specific training needs of individual members.
To ensure that training provision is developed to meet those needs at the appropriate time and at an affordable cost.
Marketing:
To raise the profile and awareness of the Cornish marine industry, regionally, nationally and internationally.
To increase members market share and profitable growth through encouraging and enabling joint promotional initiatives.
Business Environment
To establish a powerful voice to influence individuals and organisations responsible for key issues that affect members' competitiveness e.g.:

To enhance the competitiveness of members by identifying and sharing best practice both nationally/internationally and through members own knowledge and experience e.g.:
