The Developing Skills for Business Programme

Cornwall Marine Network is a partner in the Developing Skills for Business programme which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and works with employers to design, develop and pilot training and apprenticeships to improve the relevance of skills training for local businesses across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The project aims to identify current and emerging skills needs by working with our marine members and businesses that are part of Cornwall’s Business Improvement Districts. Together with employers, CMN looks to co-design and develop solutions to improve sector specific skills gaps and deliver a broad spectrum of employer-focused resources and activities.

Cornwall Marine Network work with a collaborative employer-led partnership alongside The Cornwall College Group, Cornwall Council, SBD Associates / Cornwall Manufacturers Group, Software Cornwall, Digital Peninsula Network, Pirate FM, Cornwall Food Foundation and Cornwall Chamber of Commerce.
